MAC Operator

Location: Port Talbot

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm (Overtime available at x1.5 on weekdays and x2 on weekends)

Salary: Up to £40,000 (Overtime available at x1.5 on weekdays & x2 on weekends)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, is currently recruiting for a MAC Engineer to join our clients manufacturing company in Port Talbot.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy design and production team, ensuring high-quality artwork and packaging designs are produced to the highest standards.

The Role
  • Responsible for preparing, checking and processing artwork for print and production
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure artwork meets brand guidleinges, technical specifications and print requirements
  • Liaise with production and technical teams to ensure artwork is compatible with print and manufacturing processes
  • Check proofs and final ;ayouts before production
  • Support continuous improvement of artwork and print processes
About you
  • Previous experience as a MAC Operator, Artworker or Pre-Press Technician within print, packaging or manufacturing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suits / ArtPro / PAX
  • Strong eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of print production, colour management and reprographics process
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
