Overview

Amazing opportunity in consultative sales - a Luxury Retail Sales / Art Sales Consultant is required for this stunning contemporary Art Gallery. You do not necessarily need an Art background but a desire to sell a prestigious luxury retail product is essential (product training will be provided). A strong appreciation of art is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Generate sales through consultative, relationship-based selling while working toward realistic monthly targets, with the potential to earn commission.
  • Provide exceptional client and customer service, delivering an amazing client experience from start to finish. Consultatively manage client needs and communicate passion for the product to drive sales.
  • Proactively promote the gallery by making daily calls to generate new business and increase footfall, in addition to responding to clients who visit the gallery.
  • Manage client relationships over the phone and email, maintain a daily client list, and develop prospective business through self-starting outreach.
  • Be flexible to work weekends, as they are the busiest time, within a 5-day week.
  • Drive is preferred for home consultations as an additional service to clients.
  • Salary is a combination of base salary and commission potential; details available on shortlisting.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Desire to sell a prestigious luxury product; art background is not required, but a strong appreciation of art is preferred.
  • Strong, customer-focused service skills and the ability to transfer enthusiasm for sales and the product to clients.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work toward targets and generate new business through proactive outreach.
  • Comfort with a consultative sales approach and delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Willingness to be flexible on weekends; driving to support home consultations is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage client needs across in-gallery, phone, and email channels.
