Job summary

A luxury cruise line seeks an experienced Bar/ Wine Waiter to deliver high-quality beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with public health standards. Responsibilities include proactive guest engagement, assisting in beverage outlet operations, and adhering to company policies. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of experience in a similar role, excel in American bar service, and be fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. This position requires physical and mental fitness for shipboard duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role at an international 5-star establishment.
• Excellent knowledge of American bar service.
• Physically and medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional beverage service in various venues.
• Assist with setting up and closing beverage outlets.
• Ensure compliance with Public Health standards during service.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of American bar service

General knowledge of wines, liquors, brandies and ports

Conversational in additional languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin)

Education

Valid STCW95 certification

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position at an International 5 star establishment

Excellent fluent English (verbal and written)
