You will support and supervise pupils during the lunch period, helping to create a calm, friendly and inclusive environment. This includes preparing children for lunch, supervising play, supporting positive behaviour and ensuring pupils' wellbeing at all times. The role also involves facilitating age‑appropriate games and activities to promote social and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in preparing for lunch, including routines such as washing hands.
- Supervise pupils before, during and after the meal to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Follow procedures for wet‑play lunchtimes and contribute to setting up and tidying away activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, celebrating good conduct and implementing agreed rewards and sanctions.
- Help provide a variety of engaging lunchtime games, clubs and activities.
- Record accidents appropriately and follow Health & Safety, safeguarding and confidentiality requirements at all times.

Experience
