Overview

As a Material Accountant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will play a vital part in our supply chain and warehouse operations. This role is central to ensuring accurate receipt, issue, inspection, storage, movement, and accounting of equipment. You will help maintain the availability of key components used to support military capability, making a real difference to our customers and the people who rely on our work.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out receipt, issue, inspection and storage tasks for materials and components
  • Maintain accurate material accounting records to support operational readiness
  • Manage returns to the supply chain and ensure they are processed efficiently
  • Work closely with colleagues across supply chain, engineering and customer teams
  • Support warehouse activities to ensure safe, effective and compliant operations

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Warminster.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Essential experience: Experience working within a warehouse environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately when managing material information
  • Comfortable working as part of a multi disciplined team

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
