Seeking an LSA/TA/Care Assistant/Support Worker!

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Wiltshire.

You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

Certificates in Manual handling, Hoist, First Aid, Care would be admired. If we do not have these, we have a comprehensive CPD Academy where you can upskill yourself in your own time.

This school require staff on a long term, full-time and permanent basis (5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm).

Requirements
  • Interest in healthcare or social care background or personal experience supporting SEND is welcome.
  • Desire to work in a SEND environment; no prior experience required.
  • Willingness to undertake training and upskill through the CPD Academy.
  • Relevant safeguarding checks and compliance as per protocol.

  • This role is long term, full-time and permanent (5 days a week, 8:30am-15:30pm).
