Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shift work Monday - Sunday
Salary: £12.41 per hour
Night Shift Allowance: 0.60 per hour (effective 1 Jan) for hours 11pm–6am; increased to 0.75 per hour from 1 May 2025

About the Role: As a Lounge Host, you will report to the Team Leader and be a key cross-functional member ensuring guest expectations are met and exceeded, so they leave our lounges feeling Welcome, Relaxed & Energised.
Responsibilities
- Reception: Provide a warm and friendly welcome, support efficient check-in, manage lounge capacity at peak times, and bid farewell to guests to encourage return visits.
- Food and Beverage: Work as a team to ensure offerings are available and well presented; maintain professional and clean self-service and bar areas; assist with food preparation following the sessional menu (including meat, vegetarian, and vegan options); engage with guests while serving drinks; guide guests on options and dietary/allergen information; replenish stock as required.
- General Host: Clear and clean tables as guests depart; maintain high levels of organisation and cleanliness; respond to guest questions with high levels of customer service.
- Back of House: Assist with stock delivery and rotation; manage waste in line with recycling procedures; load/unload dishwasher; restock cleaned crockery; maintain hygiene across areas; support ad hoc requests from local leadership.
Qualifications
- Background in hospitality or customer services with high levels of customer interaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, including payment machines and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently to complete tasks.
- Ability to follow processes with flexibility when required.
- Additional languages desirable.
- Flexible to work shifts covering 03:30–21:00, 7 days a week.
- Industry recognised food safety training and qualifications to FSA L2.
