Overview

Gleeson has been exclusively partnered with a Global business looking for a Logistics Project Manager. This role is best suited to a professional looking to grow within a large supply chain business.

Job Title: Logistics Project Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45-50,000

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget constraints.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and regularly communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and finance, to align project objectives with overall business goals.
  • Foster effective communication and cooperation among team members to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyse data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Monitor and address any issues that may arise during the project life cycle.
  • Work closely with suppliers and third-party partners to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms for the organisation.
