A healthcare organization in Nottingham seeks a Logistics Support Assistant to provide essential support to Healthcare Professionals. Responsibilities include collecting and delivering linen, assisting with medical gas delivery, and ensuring the safe operation of transport equipment. Candidates should have basic Health & Safety knowledge. This role offers 37.5 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays, fostering team collaboration in delivering high-quality patient services.
The post holder will provide support and assistance to Healthcare Professionals within all areas of the Trust. The role will be to work under the direction of the Logistics Transport Team Leader and is primarily concerned with the movement of goods and services in the most efficient and effective way, using the correct lifting and handling equipment. The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality service from designated destinations as directed, maintaining high standards of service delivery and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff and visitors at all times. They will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet the daily demands of this service. To adopt a caring and friendly manner at all times.
Hours of work are 37.5 per week working between the hours of 6am and 9pm on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
