Logistics Coordinator – Middlesbrough

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in European road freight forwarding to join a dynamic team and play a key role in fast-paced operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising both groupage and full load trailer movements to and from the UK and Scandinavia
  • Negotiating rates with hauliers and arranging collections to meet sailing deadlines
  • Managing export/import documentation, customs, and insurance requirements
  • Providing accurate quotations in a timely manner
  • Building and maintaining strong customer and client relationships
  • Delivering excellent customer service, including handling queries and resolving issues
  • Ensuring compliance with trade regulations and health & safety requirements
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in road freight forwarding across Europe
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Knowledge of customs procedures would be an advantage
