Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Logistics Administrator to manage shipments, track deliveries, and coordinate closely with carriers and internal departments. This role requires strong administrative and organizational skills, ideally in logistics, as well as clear communication abilities. In return, a competitive salary of £30k D.O.E, along with 25 days annual leave and a strong life assurance scheme, are part of the benefits offered. The position is permanent, Monday to Friday.

They are looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will manage shipments, track deliveries and coordinate closely with both carriers and internal departments.

  • Manage end to end booking administration in Salesforce with accurate data and cross team coordination
  • Review and validate commercial documents and quotes, resolving discrepancies quickly
  • Monitor booking queries and provide clear updates to stakeholders and customers
  • Support team operations through trend analysis, reporting and accurate record keeping
  • Deliver customer service and account support, escalating issues and ensuring continuity during absences
Skills & Experience
  • Have admin and organisational skills, ideally within logistics
  • Communicate clearly with customers by phone and email in a friendly, helpful manner
  • Have or are willing to learn knowledge of import/export documents and customs processes
  • Use Outlook, Word and Excel confidently with attention to detail
  • Handle busy workloads well, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
