We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum ST3+ Doctor to join a dynamic and supportive Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team based in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-acuity environment while enjoying the flexibility of locum work in one of Northern Ireland’s leading healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality clinical care to critically ill children admitted to the PICU.

Participate in ward rounds, emergency admissions, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Liaise with consultants, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Contribute to the on-call rota, including nights and weekends as required.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with local and national guidelines.

Requirements:

Minimum ST3 level or equivalent in Paediatrics or Anaesthesia with PICU experience.

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

Right to work in the UK.

Recent experience in a Paediatric or Anaesthetics setting is essential.

ALS and APLS/PILS certification desirable but not necessary.
