Job summary

A medical recruitment agency is seeking a Locum Practice Nurse in Cardiff to work 3 days a week, starting ASAP. You will join a modern GP practice, contributing to patient care and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Essential skills include chronic disease management and experience in immunisations. Qualifications

• Experience with chronic disease management is essential.

• Up to date with clinical updates and vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team alongside GP's and Nurses.
• Provide immunisations and manage chronic diseases.
• Monitor patients with asthma, COPD, and diabetes.

Practice Nurse Cardiff ASAP start

Dream Medical are working with a modern GP practice Cardiff who are currently looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their team.

The Practice are based on the outskirts of Cardiff and are looking for a Practice Nurse to work 3 days per week for an ongoing period to start ASAP. They are flexible on the days and hours worked.

You will be required to work across 2 sites however both are relatively close.

You will be working as part of a team alongside GP's, Nurses and healthcare assistants.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
• The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
• Child and adult immunisations
• Cervical Cytology
• Spirometry
• Diabetes
• Asthma and COPD monitoring
• Family planning
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
• Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
