Overview

NHS 111 Clinical Advisor – Exeter Devon - £30 - £52ph. Dream Medical is working with a private provider to supply clinical advisors to their site in Exeter, Devon for the NHS 111 service. The centre is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The person appointed must have clinical registration either NMC or HCPC, evidence of continuous professional development, successfully completed training for NHS Pathways and have taken a 111 call in the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• We require Pathways trained clinicians both nurses and paramedics that have already been trained on the 111 system to take calls from the general public offering advice and guidance to health related issues in a telephone triage role.

Requirements

• Clinical registration with NMC or HCPC.
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) and completed NHS Pathways training; must have taken a 111 call in the last 6 months.
• Shifts ranging from short 6 hour days to long 12 hour shifts, covering 7 days a week (days and weekends).
• Induction: after registration, a 1 day on-site induction.
