Qualifications

• Broad training and experience in General Medicine with relevant specialty experience.
• Experience of working in a Peri-operative setting.
• Evidence of participation in clinical audit and understanding of its role in practice improvement.
• Evidence of proactive engagement with appraisal and revalidation.
• Ability to critically appraise research.
• Evidence of teaching medical students and resident doctors.
• Evidence of effective leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Acute Geriatrics team in patient reviews.
• Work in the Emergency Department and Acute Medicine footprint.
• Participate in the acute general internal medical on-call rota.
