The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist for a less than full-time role on a male ward for up to 12 months.   • Fully registered with GMC and included on the GMC Specialist Register.
  • Approved Doctor under s12.

  • Work with a full time Consultant to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical duties including assessments and patient management.

We are seeking a less than full time Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to work alongside a full time Consultant on the male ward - ward 3 Becklin for up to 12 months.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. This is a 10 PA post plus a 1% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties.

  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with GMC and Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
  • Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or equivalent qualification (in accordance with Royal College of Psychiatrist's Guidelines)
  • Approved Doctor under s12
