A regional healthcare provider in Truro is inviting applications for a locum consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Qualifications

Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
  • GDC/GMC Registration with a Full Licence to Practice
  • Successfully completed the Intercollegiate Fellowship Exam in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery or equivalent
Qualifications – Desirable
  • Completion of a relevant surgical fellowship
  • Has completed an educational supervisor training course
  • Holds an ATLS certificate
  • GMC Specialist Register
Experience – Essential
  • Ability to manage patients with complex facial trauma
  • Ability to manage patients with oral cancer
  • Experience in the surgical management of temporomandibular joint pathology
  • Broad experience of head and neck skin cancer surgery including metastatic disease
  • Effective participation in clinical audit
  • Training in teaching and experience of postgraduate and undergraduate teaching
  • Research relevant to the specialty and publications in refereed journals
Experience – Desirable
  • Experience in performing sentinel lymph node biopsy
