A leading UK healthcare provider is seeking a Consultant in Gastroenterology to join their dynamic department. The role involves delivering endoscopy lists and contributing to patient care within a fast-paced environment. Applicants should possess an MRCP and have experience in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. The position is based at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital with a salary range of £109,725 to £145,478. This role requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
An opportunity has arisen for one candidate to join a growing, dynamic and forward‑thinking Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust. The candidate will join a faculty of 21 consultants working across our two hospitals: Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.
The post would be based predominantly at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, with the potential to work across both sites according to the demands and vision of the department. The appointed individual is expected to uphold the Trust values to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care to patients with liver disease.
The appointee must be a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or equivalent and would be expected to have completed higher specialist training or equivalent in Gastroenterology. It is highly desirable that the appointee holds a higher medical degree (i.e. MD or PhD).
Applicants must be on the Specialist Register (for Gastroenterology) or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK.
The main duties of the appointee will be centred around delivery of Endoscopy lists.
