The Royal Wolverhampton Trust, Obstetrics & Gynaecology department are seeking to recruit 2 Junior Clinical Fellows for a fixed term period of 6 months.
This post is for ST1-2 level doctor experienced to work on the "SHO" tier at New Cross Hospital, Royal Weolverhampton NHS Trust. They are suitable for doctors who have completed F2 training.
As these are short term posts, previous UK NHS experience is essential.
The postholders will be required to contribute to a 48 hour EWTD full shift rota. The remainder of the job plan each week will consist of general duties on Labour Ward, triage, emergency gynaecology.
The appointed doctor will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Junior Medical Staff should ensure that only 2 members of each rota is on leave at one time. Approval for leave is at the discretion of the relevant Consultants and is department on continuity of patient care.
The appointed doctor accepts that he/she will perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances at Consultant request, though resident doctors will not be required to undertake this work for prolonged periods on a regular basis.
