A leading health and social care provider in Bramhall is seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse to develop and manage nursing resources within a community team. The role involves leading services for individuals with learning disabilities, collaborating with families, and ensuring high-quality care. Proven leadership skills and experience in adult learning disability services are essential. This position offers an opportunity to work within an integrated health and social care system focused on patient collaboration and innovation.
In collaboration with the senior nursing and health managers, develop, lead and manage the nursing resource within the community learning disability team. To receive and respond to the needs of referred learning disabled adults to develop positive lives in their local community. This involves allocation of clinical work to nursing colleagues, to ensure appropriate allocation of nursing resources and the effective deployment and development of nursing skills. To ensure maintain clinical excellence in the Learning Disability nursing field, and lead of pathways of care. In the absence of the Professional Lead the post holder may cover identified responsibilities.
