Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Build a relationship of trust with the children.
  • Handle all general daily Nanny duties.
  • Prepare simple meals and plan activities for the children.
  • Work with parents and staff to manage schedules.
  • Provide babysitting services 1-2 nights per week.

Our client, residing in Greenwich, is seeking a Live-in Nanny/PA for their 2 children aged 15 & 13 years.

The family are looking for a well organised and professional individual who has extensive mental health and SEN experience working with children/teenagers with Autism and anxiety.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Building a relationship of trust with the children, and being attentive to their emotional needs
  • Being responsible for all general daily Nanny duties
  • Light household duties solely for the children
  • Simple cooking for the children
  • Planning activities for both children
  • Liaising with parents and other staff members to organise the children’s schedules, and ensure the smooth running of the household
  • Creating a fun and friendly environment
  • Babysitting 1-2 nights per week, which are included in your contracted hours
  • Travel with the family during school holidays

You should be comfortable working within a team environment, as well as willing to muck in where necessary, and offer a certain level of flexibility. The family have a small team of staff and 2 additional Nannies who you will be working alongside on a rotational schedule.

  • During term times: weekdays - 6.30am-9.30am, break, 11.30-8.30pm; Babysitting 8.30pm-11.00pm
  • 2 consecutive days off during the week or weekend
  • In school holidays shared cover 6 days a week, 7.30am-8.30pm with occasional babysitting

It is essential:

  • You have previous experience working with SEN children
