What is the role of a Live-In Carer?

• Delivering exceptional person-centred care to all clients.
• Supporting and encouraging clients with their daily activities, enabling them to enjoy the best possible quality of life.
• Promoting the independence and dignity of clients, whilst ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Offering peace of mind to the clients' family members or representatives.
• Undertaking light housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and preparing nutritious meals.
• Reporting, recording, and maintaining clients' care records accurately, following guidelines, and liaising with the team and healthcare professionals regarding the client's care.
• Supporting with the client's medication and liaising with healthcare professionals involved in their care.
• Liaising with Care Consultants and other Carers to ensure continuity of care.
• Observing, monitoring, and recording the client's physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Adopting a flexible approach to meet the client's requirements; additional duties within your capabilities may be required.
• Undertaking all mandatory award-winning training provided by our client, on an annual and additional basis.
