A recruitment agency is looking for a dependable and proactive Assistant House Manager to aid in the daily operations of a family estate. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, maintaining household systems, and assisting with events and guest care. We are seeking a dependable and proactive Assistant House Manager to support the daily running of the house and estate, including maintenance, presentation, and security. The House is primarily a family home which stays as the centre of all who are involved in estate life. Working closely with the House Manager, you will help coordinate the day‑to‑day logistics across the property. This position suits someone who upholds high standards, works collaboratively, and is fully hands‑on. The assistant manager tends to be responsible for those tasks which require physical execution, while the Head House Manager’s role tends to be more managerial and organisational. Both House Managers act as key holders, opening and closing the house each day and managing all alarm and emergency systems. You will oversee household equipment and ensure everything operates safely and reliably.
