Job Title: Litigator - Multi Track PI Claims

Location: Doncaster (hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Introduction
  • Managing personal injury and clinical negligence claims from Letter of Claim through to Trial, including all procedural stages.
  • Taking on new claims or those initially in the MOJ Portal which later exit the process and progress to Multi-Track litigation.
  • Maintaining excellent client care, ensuring clients are fully informed and supported throughout the litigation process.
  • Conducting thorough liability investigations, including taking witness statements and gathering early supporting evidence to assess case prospects.
  • Organising Immediate Needs Assessments (INA) and liaising with case managers to arrange appropriate rehabilitation, equipment, or support services.
  • Obtaining and reviewing medical records to determine appropriate medical evidence and identify relevant medical experts.
  • Instructing and liaising with medical and non-medical experts, attending conferences with Counsel, and reviewing expert reports.
  • Drafting Schedules of Loss and undertaking detailed quantum assessments.
  • Preparing and drafting Court pleadings and other procedural documents.
  • Instructing Counsel and handling Court hearings where appropriate.
  • Ensuring efficient and proactive caseload management, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Working collaboratively within a team environment, delegating tasks effectively where appropriate.
