Job description

Shift: 4ON 4OFF - 07:30am-19:30pm.

Hourly Rate: 30398 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the Production Line under their charge maximises the utilisation of the following 3 main resources of the business.
  • Reporting and communicating all issues affecting Production effectively.
  • Ensuring that all finished products and donor stocks always maintain their traceability and in accordance with the Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures.
  • Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.
  • Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
  • Effectively maximising production efficiency to ensure plans are met on a hourly / daily basis.
  • Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company health safety and quality regulations.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assisting in developing a skills matrix for all production workers.
  • Assisting in training and development of new starters.
  • Monitoring, controlling and minimising waste.

  • Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
  • Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
  • Able to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour).
  • Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.
