We are searching for the best talent for a Line Facilitator (Product Fulfillment) to be in Leeds, United Kingdom!
Purpose

At Johnson & Johnson, we encourage skill advancement and career growth. As we gear up for new production initiatives, we’re looking for a skilled individual to join our manufacturing team. This role involves hands‑on production activities, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure efficiency and scalability.

As a Line Facilitator, you will:
  • Perform fabrication and machining activities (~80%), including machine set‑up, operation, finishing, inspection, and handling of metal and plastic components.
  • Carry out indirect duties (~20%) such as production reporting, expediting, supporting continuous improvement projects, and preparing audit documentation.
  • Monitor machine cycle times and part quality; identify deviations and lead corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and cGMP/GMP standards; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Apply knowledge of machine tooling, diagnostics, and quality control to support new projects and increase capacity.
  • Train and mentor team members on specialized fabrication machinery; provide cross‑site support when required.
  • Perform operator asset care and first‑line maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Lead improvement and 6S activities to enhance yield, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements & Skills
  • Recognized qualification or experience in assembly/manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in supervised manufacturing (medical device preferred) with knowledge of GMP and validation principles.
  • Familiarity with lean principles, 6S, and Operator Asset Care.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Proactive and resilient, with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experience mentoring or training colleagues on specialized machinery.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and strong safety focus.
