Job Overview

Personal Care Assistants are required to support a lady ex‑teacher, in Hornby, living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) within her own home.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant your duties include washing and dressing assistance, household duties, daily stretches, preparing snacks and light meals, and assisting with bed‑time routines.

Requirements

• Reliable, caring, personable, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
• Previous experience in care desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic essential.
• Employer will provide training.

Shift Schedule

• Monday: 8:15 am – 2 pm (break in the middle)
• Monday: 9:15 pm – 11 pm
• Tuesday: 7:45 am – 1 pm
• Tuesday: 6:15 pm – 7:45 pm
• Wednesday: 8:30 am – 11:30 am/12 pm
• Wednesday: 6:15 pm – 7:45 pm
• Thursday: possible teatime call, 3 hours extra, 9:15 pm – 11 pm
• Alternate weeks: Thursday 4 pm – 6:45 pm, and 5 pm – 6:45 pm
• Weekend (Saturday and Sunday): 8:30 am – 12:30 pm/1 pm
• Weekend: Teatime call 6:15 pm – 7:45 pm
• Weekend: 9:30 pm – 11 00 pm – to be worked as alternate weekends

Rates of Pay

Hourly rates between £15 and £30 per hour.

Night‑time rates are £32.00 per call, and £38 per emergency call.
