A local government authority in East Suffolk seeks a Licensing Manager to oversee the provision of high-quality licensing advice. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of licensing statutory requirements and proven experience in leadership. This role offers a salary range of £49,282 - £53,460 per annum, 37 hours per week, and a range of benefits including generous leave entitlements and professional development opportunities. An opportunity has arisen for a Licensing Manager to join our Legal Services team ensure the provision of a high quality, timely, cost effective and customer focused advice on Licensing matters that supports the vision of East Suffolk Strategic Plan.
We are looking for someone who has a sound understanding of statutory and operating practicalities of licensing, with previous experience working with elected members or people in similar positions of seniority in public/private companies. We also require someone with the ability to effectively supervise, motivate and lead a team of staff.
The experience/qualifications sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for this role is essential.
