A leading aviation solutions company is seeking a Licensed Technician (B1) to join their team at Brize Norton. In this role, you will perform aircraft maintenance and certification tasks, ensure safe working practices, mentor apprentices, and lead a group of engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a B1 license, strong team collaboration skills, and effective communication abilities. AAG Defence Services is a MAA Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) based in RAF Brize Norton, UK. We work in partnership with Airbus Aerospace & Defence to supply dedicated MRO services, including heavy and line maintenance, to the Royal Air Force’s fleet of A400M Atlas aircraft. Our committed and flexible team of over 100 engineers and management are based at RAF Brize Norton in a dedicated 24,000m², three‑bay facility designed to optimise the maintenance of the aircraft. AAG Defence Services is a subsidiary company of Atlantic Aviation Group.
Job Purpose
An aircraft engineer that must be able to satisfy MAA RA4801(1) to hold appropriate company approvals, required to perform aircraft maintenance and certification tasks in accordance with Technical Documentation and Company Procedures. May be asked to carry out limited Supervisory duties to cover Supervisory shortfalls or as role development.
