Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Location: Kent, WA
Position: Full‑Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year


Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide telehealth services to adult and/or adolescent clients across Washington State. In this role, you will spend your day conducting virtual therapy sessions, completing assessments, building practical treatment plans, and helping clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.


Responsibilities


  • Provide individual and, when appropriate, family or group therapy via secure telehealth platform.

  • Complete intake assessments, mental status exams, and risk evaluations.

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update treatment plans with measurable goals.

  • Document sessions, diagnoses, and progress notes in the EHR in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals as needed.

  • Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and trainings.


Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

  • Active Washington State license as LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent (independent licensure preferred).

  • 1–2+ years of post‑graduate clinical experience in mental health.

  • Telehealth experience and strong comfort with technology and EHR systems.

  • Strong skills in evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc. a plus).
