Are you passionate about inspiring young people to discover the joy of reading? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian to manage our school library and play a vital role in fostering a love of reading across our community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the library remains a welcoming and exciting space for all students.
• Work with the English department to provide a wide range of engaging and age-appropriate reading materials.
• Deliver targeted reading interventions to support less confident readers.
• Organise and promote events such as World Book Day and other literacy celebrations.
• Manage and catalogue resources, supervise library use, and encourage responsible conduct.
• Promote the library internally and externally, raising its profile across the school.
