An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust for Service Manager for Liaison and Diversion (LiDi) services across Coventry and North and South Warwickshire in the criminal justice pathway.
The post holder will be a key member of the management team, responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership and the overall planning, management and delivery of services within their criminal justice pathway.
The role of each Service Manager is to help systematically improve and enhance the effectiveness, operational and quality and safety of care provided within LiDi, with the aim of achieving some of the best outcomes in the country.
The post holder will work in conjunction with the Head of Service and Professional Leadership to lead the provision of efficient, effective and high‑quality professional and well‑coordinated services which meet all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements, ensuring alignment with the contracted activities of the Trust.
The post holder will contribute to the wider acute service management team, providing cross cover when required.
You will need to demonstrate the aptitude to be an optimistic, resilient and visible leader, who can identify and harness opportunities for cycles of change that enable sustainable transformation and deliver quality coproduced services responsive to the needs and circumstances of people supported by our services.
You'll work within operational leadership, supporting quality and safety in the development and implementation of systems, structures and processes to promote high‑quality clinical services that make a real difference.
Have specialist knowledge of the range of clinical pathways for support of people supported by LiDi.
Have an awareness of recent changes and current issues in mental health service and criminal justice provision.
Contribute to complex case work embedded in evidence‑based practice.
Provide clinical advice to colleagues within urgent care services and external agencies.
Oversee and contribute to expert clinical practice as a professional lead.
Influence professional standards through evaluation and monitoring.
Support changes in practice and service delivery through role‑modeling and leadership.
