Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Salary: Up to £115 per day

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a vibrant Sheffield school?

GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Sheffield. This role starting either ASAP or from September, ideal for someone passionate about nurturing young minds and supporting educational development.

You will be working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support individual students or small groups, helping to raise attainment, promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills within a welcoming and forward-thinking school community.

Key Responsibilities of Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Support teaching and learning under the guidance of the class teacher, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of targeted interventions.
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs or EHCPs.
• Help maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and support assessment activities.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary or secondary school setting.
• A caring, proactive and patient approach to supporting learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
