TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Hospital based setting in Nottingham, supporting with their recruitment for a Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The setting is centred on supporting young people with severe SEMH needs, which requires the successful candidate to have a Level 3 qualification at least.

The setting is seeking a passionate team player to take on this long‑term role, although there is potential for this to become a long‑term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider setting.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:

• Level 3 CACHE or equivalent
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Exceptional behaviour management skills
