Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Creating a warm, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages children's learning and development.
  • Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions and play.
  • Completing observations, assessments, and contributing to children's learning journeys to track their progress.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, offering daily feedback and support.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.
  • Following safeguarding procedures, health & safety requirements, and nursery policies at all times.
  • Contributing new ideas, creativity, and best practice to the team and wider nursery.
About You

We are looking for a warm, motivated, and passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential).
  • A nurturing, positive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
