Overview

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Location: Nelson – Full-Time (40 hours per week) – Salary: £25,714 - £27,280 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) – Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts between 7:30am - 6:00pm

About Us

We are currently recruiting for a well-established private nursery in Nelson, known for delivering high-quality childcare in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their dedicated team with an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Observe, assess, and record children's development
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times
• Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all children
• Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive nursery culture

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work shifts between 7:30am - 6:00pm
• A genuine passion for early years education
