Overview

Job description: Nursery opening times 8:30am–6:00pm. Permanent, full-time, part-time and temporary staff considered.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Supervise children’s playtime, ensure safety, and encourage positive interactions among peers.
  • Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, document developmental milestones, and communicate findings with parents.
  • Collaborate with other staff to plan and execute special events or programs.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while promoting hygiene practices among children.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
