Overview

Position: Nursery Nurse - Level 3

Part-Time Position (Monday - Friday, 25 - 30 Hours per week)

Full Time Position (Monday - Friday, 42.5 - 45 Hours per week)

Subject to probationary period.

To be a proactive practitioner who supports and delivers confidently the EYFS. To provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business. Must have a minimum Early Years qualification of a level 3 diploma, equivalent or higher to apply for this position. Flexible to work between: 7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, to be flexible to the needs of the business.

Interview Process

If successful you will be selected to take part in our interview process. A member of the management team will contact successful candidates to organise a date and time slot.

Your interview checklist:

• Identification (passport, drivers licence, utility bill, birth certificate).

Safety is paramount with working with children so ensure you come prepared and wear appropriate clothing.

The interview

The interview is led by our Area Manager and supported by a senior member of the team. We will ask you questions on the following areas:

• Your history and experience in childcare
• SEND,
• Your training and qualification(s)
• Your Knowledge and understand of the EYFS (primary & specific areas)
• Safeguarding and Child Protection. Procedure in dealing with ‘what to do if you are worried a child has been abused’
• Prevent Duty & British Vales
