Job description

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a primary school in Astley.

The school requires an enthusiastic and capable 1 : 1 Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 14.00pm.

Pupils love coming to school. Staff enable pupils to believe in themselves. Staff ensure that pupils are happy and safe at school by taking good care of them. Pupils, and their parents and carers, spoke highly of teachers and other staff.” Ofsted Report 2021

What we’re looking for :
  • A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning Level 2.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • An interest in working with children.
  • A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
Successful candidates must have :
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service.
  • At least two references including most recent / current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
