Are you an experienced lettings professional looking to step up and lead a thriving branch? We're seeking a highly organised, customer‑focused Lettings & Sales Manager to take charge of our client's Gloucester office, with a strong emphasis on driving the success of the Lettings department.

About the Role

As the Lettings & Sales Manager, you will take the lead in developing and growing the lettings portfolio while also overseeing the sales function. Your primary focus will be to ensure the lettings department operates efficiently, compliantly, and profitably, while delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants. You'll manage a motivated team, support their development, and help increase the branch's visibility and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support the lettings team while overseeing the sales team as needed
  • Grow the lettings portfolio through valuations, new business generation, and landlord relationships
  • Convert lettings valuations into instructions and support sales conversions where required
  • Ensure all lettings activity complies with up-to-date legislation and company standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, applicants, and contractors
  • Monitor branch performance, KPIs, and financial targets with a focus on lettings growth
  • Handle escalated issues, ensuring smooth resolutions and excellent customer satisfaction
  • Represent the branch within the community to strengthen brand presence
About You
  • Proven experience within residential lettings (sales experience beneficial but secondary)
  • Previous branch management or senior lettings negotiator/assistant manager experience
  • Strong leadership abilities with a hands‑on approach
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance (ARLA qualification desirable)
  • Proactive, customer‑centric, and driven to grow the lettings portfolio
  • Full UK driving licence
