Overview

Our client is a national provider of Legionella / Water Hygiene management services with a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now seeking to take on a Legionella / Water Hygiene Sales Manager due to consistent success. You will be overseeing and managing sales accounts for longstanding Care Home, Healthcare, Educational, Retail, and Leisure clients. This role is suitable for someone with extensive hands‑on experience within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry who is familiar with the products and services, confidently promoting services to new and existing clients while ensuring targets and KPIs are met and working closely with the sales / BDM team, providing support and guidance where required. For the successful candidate, our client can offer an excellent company pension scheme, competitive holiday allowance, commission scheme and excellent salary.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working within a Sales / Management role, ideally within the Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
  • Experience working hands‑on as an engineer within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company would be beneficial to the role.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Working in line with company / client needs.
  • Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently.
The Role
  • Oversee and manage the sales / BDM team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day running.
  • Meet KPIs and targets, ensuring consistent growth across all departments.
  • Produce financial forecasts regularly.
  • Oversee the sales / BDM team, highlighting areas for improvement and working closely with them to advise on the best strategies.
  • Routinely attend meetings with clients to discuss financial aspects of the process, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timeframes and dealing with any queries and issues.
  • Work closely with internal managers and directors.
  • Upsell company services to clients, new and existing.
