Job description

Due to the recent acquisition of several new contracts this water treatment/hygiene company who offer a wide range of professional services to clients nationwide are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy workforce in the Waltham Cross region. Applications from Harlow, Hatfield, Romford, Enfield the and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience

• Will hold City of Guilds/WMS, Legionella Control Association certificates.
• Fully conversant with domestic, commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations.
• Extensive experience of carrying out risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8 essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role and responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on a variety of Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector sites.
• Planning and carrying out of surveys for the water safety risk assessment process.
• To plan and organise projects.
• Liaising with management as required.
• Producing schematic drawings, comprehensive reports and final documents.
• Submitting recommendations, quotations for remedial works and carrying out such works.
• Carrying out monthly temperature testing, water sampling, surveys of water systems and supplies within the guidelines.
• Travelling nationally.
