Our client provides a wide variety of professional services including asbestos, legionella and occupational hygiene to clients and due to the continued success of the business, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover a variety of contracts in the Hemel Hempstead region. Applications from Buckinghamshire, Oxford, High Wycombe, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guilds or Water Management Society training is desirable.
• Extensive previous experience working as a legionella risk assessor.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package.

Role

• Carry out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
• Site assessments and monitoring.
• Ensure client deadlines are strictly adhered to.
• Comply with relevant legislation and internal working methods.
• Liaise with clients on a regular basis.
• Undertake training of other legionella operatives as required.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents for clients/customers.
• Carry out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
• Conduct survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Extensive travelling will be required for this role, so a full clean driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a positive work ethic.
