Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant

Location: Aberdeen, North Scotland

Salary / Benefits: £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a driven and committed provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services, globally. Due to acquiring new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant. This role would suit someone who is able to confidently carry out risk assessments on various offshore and onshore sites, providing excellent consultancy advice and support to clients. You will also be responsible for carrying out audits on client sites, ensuring to complete paperwork and return in a timely manner as well as providing training courses to clients. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate must be happy to travel globally, in line with company / client needs. This role would suit a candidate looking to take on a split role, working between site and the office. Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive experience providing consultancy, training, and auditing services in Water Hygiene / Legionella consultancy.
• Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organise workload in line with company / client requirements.
• IT literate.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out site audits in line with client needs, ensuring any necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the technical manager, providing day‑to‑day support.
• Carry out technical reviews on water systems.
• Maintain and update internal databases.
• Carry out training courses to clients.
• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold‑water systems.
• Produce detailed legionella reports upon completion of risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
• Provide legionella management plans to clients based on risk assessment findings, ensuring that all actions are implemented.
• Work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Carry out work on site using site schematic drawings.
