• Comprehensive understanding of commercial water systems, supplies, and ACOP L8.

Legionella Risk Assessor – Bolton Area

Our client is a notable water management company known for providing excellent water hygiene/legionella services to a diverse client base. They are actively recruiting for a highly skilled and committed Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Bolton area. The role is suitable for candidates from Blackburn, Rochdale, Stockport, Warrington and surrounding areas.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• Strong background in water hygiene/legionella.
• Completed a Risk Assessment course (e.g., City & Guilds) is desirable.
• Experience carrying out ACOP L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Good working knowledge of chemical treatment of cooling towers, steam boilers, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial water systems, supplies and ACOP L8.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Duties

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 across varied sites.
• Produce detailed schematic drawings and final reports for clients.
• Provide recommendations and pricing for remedial works and routine control measures through to quotations, and carry out such works based on risk assessments.
• Write up reports and attend meetings to discuss findings.
• Engage with the company’s Legionella management systems.
• Build and maintain a good rapport with clients, customers and staff.
• Troubleshoot problems appropriately and effectively.
• Prioritise workload, ensuring deadlines are met and works completed on time.
• Visit sites as and when required by clients.
