Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor. Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear. Salary / Benefits £22K – £35K + Training + Benefits. Level of Experience: Legionella Risk Assessor through to Legionella Consultant.

Our client is looking for a City and Guilds qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to join their successful team in the North East. You will be covering various Leisure, Commercial and Manufacturing sites ensuring to deliver high quality risk assessments, alongside producing detailed site surveys and schematic drawings. Our client can offer paid travel time, excellent overtime rates, and generous holiday allowance to the successful candidate.
Consideration will be given to candidate from: Gateshead, Sunderland, South Shields, Tynemouth, Morpeth, Ashington, Hexham, Consett, Durham, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Darlington, Middlesbrough.

Experience & Qualifications

• City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment (Essential)
• Experience working as a risk assessor for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company
• Will have a professional manner and excellent communication skills
• Will be IT literate
• Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines

The Role

• Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments
• Producing site surveys and schematic drawings
• Delivering Legionella awareness courses to clients
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines
• Providing technical support to clients, ensuring to maintain excellent professional relationships
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are kept up to date and accurate
