Qualifications

Job description

Due to new contract wins, our client, who has a good reputation within the water treatment/hygiene/legionella industry, are looking to recruit a hard-working Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant based in or around the Leicester area. The ideal candidate will hold experience delivering Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines to a mixed portfolio of clients and will ideally hold the City and Guilds Legionella risk assessment qualification. Consideration will be given to candidates from Chesterfield, Derby, Northampton, Nottingham, and applicants with good access to the M1.

Qualifications & experience
  • Will hold the City and guilds or WMSoc legionella risk assessing qualification.
  • Must be fully conversant with domestic, commercial, and industrial water systems and regulations.
  • Must hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ideally holds extensive experience carrying out risk assessments in ACOP L8.
  • Proficient using Microsoft packages.
Role
  • Undertaking risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 Guidelines.
  • Carrying out monthly temperature testing, water sampling and surveys on water systems and supplies.
  • Providing clients with quotations for remedial works, routine control measures through carrying out works based on risk assessments.
  • Producing schematic drawings and final reports for clients.
  • Attending all necessary meetings with customers and clients, while building a working relationship.
