Overview

Legionella Risk Assessor - North UK

We are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a growing specialist team delivering compliance and safety services across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent progression, a supportive team environment, and the chance to take real ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed risk assessments across a variety of water systems, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS#removed#:2019 standards.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports, create schematic drawings, and provide expert advice on remedial actions.
• Balance site work with remote work, typically 3-4 days on client sites and 1-2 days at home preparing write-ups.
• Travel as required, with occasional overnight stays (2-3 nights per month).
• Maintain a full UK driving licence; a company vehicle (electric or combustion) is provided with charging support or a fuel card.

Requirements

• Proven background as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Strong understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS#removed#:2019.
• Recognised plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are desirable.
• Confident using Visio or similar for schematic drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own diary effectively.
