Job description

Overview

You will need to be able to hit the ground running for the site-based delivery of a range of water hygiene related services in accordance with current legislation and your UK Water Regulations accreditation, which you will be reporting back to the local Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• The role requires flexibility; you will be responsible for the organisation of your own workloads daily, and you should be able to work efficiently upon your own initiative.
• This is a manual job which involves driving a works vehicle with some lifting, stretching and bending, and working in accordance with industry leading best-practice Health & Safety specifications.
• A formal qualification in the Control of Legionella is required; further training may be available for suitable candidates.
• Work includes legionella control with possible opportunities to gain additional skills within the Water Industry; experience in legionella control or a strong background in the Water Hygiene sector is welcome.
• The position requires the successful candidate to be flexible, work on their own initiative and be confident in front of the client.
• Previous experience of working within L8 guidance and Cleaning & Disinfection of hot and cold-water systems would be an advantage.

• Proven work history on CV related to Legionella Risk Assessments: two years
• Work History on CV of ACOP L8 compliance: one year
