Job description

Job Title: Legionella Consultant. Location: Croydon, South London. Salary / Benefits £25K – £40K + Training + Benefits. Level of Experience: Legionella Risk Assessor through to Legionella Consultant.

We are currently recruiting in the Central London area for a leading Legionella Consultancy. You will be working as a Legionella Consultant alongside an established team of Risk Assessors, traveling to sites predominately across the London / South East area. You will be working closely with the companies longstanding Blue-Chip clients; carrying out risk assessments, alongside providing excellent consultancy advice to clients and acting as first point of call for any onsite issues or queries. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and polished Risk Assessor to develop their experience within a consultancy setting. Experience & Qualifications

• Will hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Ideally educated to Degree level. (desirable not essential)
• Detailed knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
• Will have excellent consultancy / technical knowledge.
• Excellent client facing skills.
• Good attention to detail and able to organise workload efficiently.

The Role

• Visiting a mixed portfolio of sites undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Providing excellent legionella consultancy advice to clients, answering, and sorting any queries.
• Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Writing up reports and ensuring to return them to clients in a timely manner.
• Compiling and working from schematic drawings of water systems.
• Tank inspections.
• Planning and organising workload efficiently.
• Carrying out ventilation system surveys and air quality monitoring (Beneficial).
• Liaising with managers, making them aware of any issues on sites and cancellations.
